Mayoral candidate supports campaign by hosting a bingo event

Camden  Democratic mayoral candidate Frank Moran will host a bingo night for senior citizens at 1 p.m. Nov. 3 at The Meadows at Pyne Point ,441 Erie St., Camden, N.J.

Moran and Camden city committee members hold a bingo event every Friday and Saturday evening at different locations in Camden. They host a bingo event to support Moran’s mayoral campaign. The event is promoted on boards at the location where it takes place.

“Moran’s campaign committee holds bingo nights to educate and inform senior citizens about their community,” said Felicia Reyes, an elected Camden city committee member and a volunteer at the bingo events. “The senior bingo is so important because there are different task that need to be completed in order to assist and address our seniors needs,” said Reyes.

Reyes’ duties during the bingo event are to interact with senior citizens and inform them of candidates in upcoming elections. Volunteers also ask participants questions about how to improve government. Participants help Moran’s mayoral campaign by giving back positive feedback.
